Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

I enjoyed making curry rice with Japanese university students. It was a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to get to know each other.

Which co-curriculum classes did you find most satisfying?

Excursions (Asakusa)

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

Most productive was conversation practice. It was good experience for me.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

Group work was helpful, because I was able to learn from the other students, and they were able to learn from me. It was a good cultural exchange.

Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?

My teachers, as well as the international coordinators, Michiko-san, Tanaka-san, Ryuhei-san and Park-san were all friendly and helpful. I'm grateful to them for all of their help and consideration!

Any other comments or suggestions?

I enjoyed my experience here very much! If possible, I'd like to come back to KCP in the future, to continue my studies! My goal is to work in Japan, and pass JLPT 2, so KCP has been helpful to me as I work towards my goal!

Testimonials

I loved meeting new people in my classes and being able to practice Japanese almost every day. I loved living in Japan as if I were Japanese and absorbing the culture.
