Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

The visit to Hosei Daigaku was an excellent opportunity to practice conversation skills as well as meet Japanese friends who are in a similar age group.

What were your goals in attending the KCP program?

Improve conversational ability of Japanese

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

The trip to Yamanashi was an excellent opportunity to experience the beauty of the Japanese countryside.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

The textbooks, homework, and exams are very effective at drilling you on the material and making sure it is embedded in your head.

Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?

If you are considering KCP, you have made an excellent choice. A total immersion Japanese course in the great city of Tokyo is a truly unforgettable experience. However, be prepared to work hard and focus on your studies or you will fall behind, fast.
